Consumer is a person who buys products or takes benefit of any service for a consideration which can be used personally or can be used to earn livelihood. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) has been implemented (1986) which protects the consumer from exploitation that business practice to make profits which in turn harm the well being of the consumer and society. This Act presents Three- tier Grievances Redressal Machinery such as District Forum, State Commission and National Commission.
